It might have to be oblong, extending more in the Z axis than the X or Y axes. It would give space to model a truly massive reactor. Why does the engineering section stop at the (for lack of a better description) top shoulder platform? There's a lot of space up there, buildings even, and I'm surprised you haven't modeled a hole in the shoulder platform so that the engineering section extends up another story or two. I'm not saying you need to model the interior of the legs the way you modeled the torso, but it would be a real shame if it looked like anyone who did ride inside the legs wouldn't be able to stand up.Īnd while I'm posting, I have had a question about the engineering section for a while. It'd become difficult for them just to stand up inside, much less walk around. If you tilt the legs like that, it will also tilt the floors that the infantry have to stand on. Infantry are supposed to be able embark / fight from / disembark from those legs. It's actually a core design feature of the whole thing. Your project is absolutely amazing, but it would be an awful travesty if you made the legs like that. Please don't follow this picture for inspiration, PLEASE. I think it's been 11 years since I've logged in to Dakka, but I just had to today. Well she's gonna have legs but we have to start with a single step (Groan!)
